This is a photo of Big Red Lighthouse on a blustery September day at Ottawa Beach State Park in Holland, Michigan. The winds were strong, smoothing out the sand and agitating Lake Michigan. These trees and dunes were removed in the Fall of 2013 to give relief to the channel walls.
