Known as "The Butcher Bird," The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Wurger was a German single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft designed in the late 1930s and was widely used during World War II. From its maiden flight on June 1st, 1939, the Fw 190 was a maneuverable fighter capable of absorbing heavy punishment from the Allies.
